VAN BUREN – Brian Pelletier scored a goal for Van Buren on a penalty kick with 33 seconds left in regulation and the Crusaders and Fort Fairfield battled to a 2-2 schoolboy soccer tie in two overtimes in a battle of unbeatens on Wednesday.
Channel Wright also scored for Van Buren with an assist from Mike Sirois. Nathon Marquis made 13 saves on 23 shots for the 4-0-1 Crusaders.
Jeremy Norsworthy and Jason Cunningham each scored a goal for the Tigers. Nick McCullough assisted both goals. John Hayes made 23 saves on 27 shots for 4-0-1 Fort Fairfield.
Wisdom 8, Easton 1
At Easton, Andy Soucy scored four goals and Joey Soucy scored a goal and notched six assists to lead the Pioneers of St. Agatha to a lopsided win.
Josh Roy added three goals for 3-2 Wisdom, while Nate Deshaine and Justin Dubois had an assist each. Chad Bouchard madee 14 stops on 15 shots.
Ryan Woollard converted an Erik Lamoreau into 2-2 Easton’s lone goal. Jeff Blackstone made 24 saves on 36 shots.
Limestone 4, Washburn 2
At Limestone, David King scored two goals to power the Eagles to their first win of the season.
Ricky Luna had a goal and an assist for 1-4 Limestone, Sean Ward scored a goal and Raul Luna added two assists. Goalies Ryan Mulherin and Matt Brooker stopped seven of 11 shots they faced.
Mark Baker notched a goal and an assist for 0-5 Washburn, and Nick Thompson added a goal. Goalie Ben Umphrey saved 13 of 19 shots.
Houlton 6, Caribou 1
At Houlton, Mike Weston scored three goals to lead the Shiretowners to the win.
Lucas Ritchie added a pair of goals and an assist for Houlton. Ben Straubel and Andy Fitzpatrick each had two assists. Jake Cowperthwaite also had an assist for the Shiretowners. Matt Burleigh and Cowperthwaite combined to make nine saves on 22 shots for 2-1 Houlton.
Ryan Soucie scored the lone goal for Caribou. Dan Funk and Ryan Peterson combined to make 15 saves on 35 shots for the 1-1 Vikings.

At Easton, Tracy Guerrette scored two goals as Wisdom topped the winless Bears.
Shana Soucy added a goal for the 3-1 Pioneers of St. Agatha, while Trisha Cyr notched two assists and Debra Lowe had one. Nina Michaud made three saves on three shots in the first half for Wisdom, while Jen Derosier was unchallenged in net in the second.
Mary Williams and Elizabeth Dudley combined to make 14 saves on 25 shots for 0-4 Easton.
Ashland 1, Central Aroostook 1
At Mars Hill, Tracy Devoe’s goal with 21:50 left in regulation tied the contest for the Hornets.
Sarah Dwyer assisted on the goal for 1-1-1 Ashland, and goalie Mandy Maker stopped six of nine shots she faced.
Lindsay Boyd opened the scoring for Central Aroostook with 13:30 left in the first half, assisted by Andrea Lunn. Goalie Erin Whited made two saves on three shots for the Panthers.
Madawaska 2, Fort Kent 2 (OT)
At Madawaska, Erin Pelletier scored on an assist from Kristen Pelletier with 9:51 remaining, helping the Owls tie the Warriors.
Tiffany Nelson tallied a first-half goal on a Rachel Fournier assist for 3-0-1 Madawaska. Janie Michaud made five saves on six shots after taking over in goal for Steph Gagnon, who suffered a leg injury with 25 minutes left.
Lindsy Pelletier and Heather Bard scored unassisted goals for 0-1-2 Fort Kent. Andrea Marquis registered 22 saves on 24 shots.
Caribou 1, Houlton 0
At Houlton, Jessica Griffeth scored an unassisted goal with 26:47 remaining in the second half to lead the Vikings over Houlton.
Megan Lombard made 13 saves on 14 shots to record the shutout for 2-0 Caribou.
Jessica Prosser saved 11 of 14 shots for 0-3 Houlton.
Van Buren 1, Fort Fairfield 0
At Van Buren, Kristen Ayotte assisted Nicole Sirois on the lone goal of the game with 28:26 left in the game.
Hope Ouellette made four saves on five shots for 4-1 Van Buren.
Devin Jewitt had nine saves on 11 shots for 3-2 Fort Fairfield.

At Limestone, Jana Wooland and Krista Doody each had goals for Washburn.
