HODGDON – Hodgdon’s Mia Chabot scored an unassisted goal with nine seconds remaining in the contest to knot the score and the Hawks battled Central Aroostook to a 2-2 schoolgirl soccer tie through two overtimes on Tuesday.

Nikki Schools scored for Hodgdon with eleven minutes remaining to make the score 2-1. Danielle Fitzpatrick recorded six saves on nine shots for the 3-1-1 Hawks.

Andrea Lunn scored an unassisted goal 10 minutes into the contest. Lindsay Boyd gave the Panthers a 2-0 in the first half on a pass from Lunn.

Erin Whited saved 14 of 19 shots for 4-1-2 Central Aroostook of Mars Hill.

Southern Aroostook 5, Lee 1

At Dyer Brook, Rhonda Chambers scored two goals to power the Warriors past the Pandas.

Shawna Lyons, Kristen Swallow and Sue Greenlaw had a goal each for 2-1 Southern Aroostook of Dyer Brook. Goalie Megan Wilkins made nine saves on 14 shots.

Katie Cormier scored an unassisted goal for 0-1 Lee, while keeper Ann Nuite stopped 14 of 25 shots she faced.

Wisdom 6, Limestone 1

At Wisdom, Tracy Guerrette scored three goals and assisted another to lead the Pioneers past Limestone.

Lisa Ouellette added a pair of goals and an assist and Kelly Cyr netted a goal with an assist. Nina Michaud recorded seven saves on eight shots for 4-2 Wisdom.

Samantha Hawkin scored Limestone’s lone goal with 7:35 left in the match. Sarah Duropo saved 16 of 22 shots for 0-9 Limestone.

Fort Kent 1, Van Buren 0

At Van Buren, Heather Bard scored the winning goal for the Warriors with 2:12 left in the game. She was assisted by Robin Lamar.

Andrea Marquis saved six of seven shots for 1-1-2 Fort Kent.

Hope Ouellette recorded nine saves on 14 shots for 4-3 Van Buren.

East Grand 4, Easton 2

At Easton, Megan Amero scored a goal and assisted on the other three to pace East Grand to a victory in its season-opener.

Tara Cropley scored twice for the winners and Mesha Whitney had the other goal. Goalie Lindsay Faulkner made nine saves.

Kathy Williams and Elizabeth Dudley scored for 0-7 Easton and goalie Mary Williams made six stops. Sarah Sullivan had an assist.

Boys soccer

Wisdom 4, Limestone 1

At St. Agatha, Josh Roy had his fourth hat trick in six games this season to lead the Wisdom Pioneers to the win.

Andy Soucy had a goal and an assist for 4-2 Wisdom and Eric Soucy added two assists. Chad Bouchard saved 11 of 17 shots.

Ricky Luna scored on Brian Saucier’s assist and Ethan Bagley made 17 saves on 30 shots for the 2-6 Eagles.

Lee 2, Southern Aroostook 2

At Lee, Nick Russell scored an unassisted goal for Southern Aroostook with 10:42 left in regulation and the teams battled through two overtimes to the tie.

Ben Walker scored on a Jon Armour assist for the 1-2-1 Warriors of Southern Aroostook. Goalie Sam Michaud made 10 saves on 18 shots.

Adam Peters scored on a penalty kick for the 0-0-1 Pandas, while Matt Corbin scored off a Derek Dicker assist. Goalie Travis Jacobs made four saves on eight shots.

Central Aroostook 2, Hodgdon 2

At Hodgdon, Stale Harberg and C.J. McKenna scored goals as the visiting Panthers salvaged a tie in two overtimes.

Jordan Codrey added an assist for Central Aroostook. Brad Walsh recorded 10 saves on 18 shots.

Mike Wallace converted a D.J. Norton feed for Hodgdon. Tom Bell added a goal on an assist by David Gray. Dana Johnson saved seven of nine shots for Hodgdon.

Easton 7, East Grand 1

At Easton, A.J. Cleaves, Ryan Lamoreau and Ryan Woollard scored two goals apiece and Erik Lamoreau had three assists to pace Easton’s win.

Cleaves also had an assist and Marcel Chalou had the other goal. Jeff Blackstone made 11 saves for the 3-3-1 Bears.

Josh Fry scored for 0-1 East Grand and Nick Parker made 21 stops.

Van Buren 1, Fort Kent 1

At Van Buren, Jon Lozier’s unassisted goal with 29 minutes left in the first half proved to be the equalizer as the teams battled to a tie.

Chad Fournier made 21 saves on 35 shots for Fort Kent.

Mike Sirous had scored for Van Buren off a Chanel Wright assist four minutes earlier. Nathan Marquis had eight stops on 11 shots.
