OLD TOWN – Margaux Albair’s unassisted breakaway goal with just one minute left in regulation gave John Bapst Memorial of Bangor a 1-0 high school field hockey victory over Old Town on Wednesday afternoon.
Stephanie Philbrook made nine saves for the 7-2 Crusaders, while Audrey Brissette stopped seven for 5-4 Old Town.

At Foxcroft, two second-half goals were all the Ponies needed to pull past the Lynx.
Davan Clawson scored unassisted with under 15 minutes left in the half, and Becky Warren put the game out of reach on an unassisted goal with seven minutes remaining.
Beth Lewis faced no shots for 8-2 Foxcroft, and Tracie Pickering made seven saves on nine shots for 2-6 Mattanawacook.

Hampden 4, Bangor 1
At Bangor, Heather Hessert had a goal and an assist to help the Broncos to the win.
Hessert’s goal came in the second half off a Willow McVeigh feed. Linda Cianchette, Jenny Nelson and Julie Davis all registered goals in the first half. Heather Kinsella had seven saves on eight shots for 4-5 Hampden.

Boys soccer
Sumner 2, Lee 2 (OT)
At Lee, Derek Dicker scored off a Trygue Rostad assist with 12:51 to go to help the home team tie.
Rostad opened up the scoring for 6-1-3 Lee with just over 27 minutes left in the first on an unassisted goal. Travis Jacobs made eight saves on 13 shots.
Willie Seward scored the first goal for 2-8-1 Sumner off a pass from Justin Carter in the second half. David Renwic then put Sumner up with an unassisted goal with just more than 14 minutes to play. Aaron Scott had 10 saves on 20 shots for Sumner.
Erskine 2, Mount View 0
At Thorndike, Mitch Donor made 12 saves on 22 shots and Mike McFarlane and Brian Osborne scored goals to lead Erskine past Mount View.
Jake Flood assisted on McFarlane’s first-half goal and John Karass set up Osborne’s second-half goal for 5-4-1 Erskine.
Jake Von Oesen made 12 stops on 17 shots for 0-8-1 Mount View.

Winslow 5, Rockland 0
At Rockland, Mark Gunning, Travis Bickford, and Jamie Jackson each had a goal and an assist to help the undefeated Black Raiders to the shutout.
Gunning, Bickford, and Chris Couturer all scored goals in the first half, with Jackson and Jake Frasier picking up goals in the second half.
Jared Poulin made six saves on six shots for 9-0 Winslow, with Sam Rhode and John Odell combining for 10 saves on 15 shots for 3-6-1 Rockland.

Girls soccer
Sumner 3, DI-Stonington 1
At East Sullivan, Jill Osier and Tovan Willey scored first-half goals and Marita Buteau and Stacie Warren combined for five saves to key Sumner’s win.
Megan Lane assisted on Osier’s game-opening goal before Willey converted from the penalty shot. Katie Brunton’s second-half goal, off a Sammy Scott assist, made it 3-0 for 2-6 Sumner.
Sarah Dunham scored with eight minutes left for 2-7 Deer Isle-Stonington and goalie Ruby Santospago made 15 stops.
Camden-Rockport 3, Wiscasset 0
At Camden, Heather Fenton and Missy Thompson scored in the first half and Jacalyn Williams added an insurance goal in the second half to pace the Windjammers.
Christina Wheelwright and Allison Ridley had assists and goalie Jaime Albright made one save for the shutout.
Rachel Kwantz and Risa Callan combined for 12 saves for Wiscasset.

At Pittsfield, Lou-Anne Jensen contributed two second-half goals and an assist in the Huskies’ rout.
Jensen first scored 26 minutes into the second period off a Megan Baker pass, and followed that up three minutes later with an unassisted goal. Baker, Karen Brown and Cass Barnes also had scores for MCI.
Kate Connor made three saves on three shots for 6-3-1 MCI, and Mariah Rosenco converted 12 saves on 20 shots for 1-9 Lincoln.
