CARIBOU — The Veterans Affairs Aroostook County Clinic at the Cary Medical Center is set to celebrate 10 years in service.
From 2:30 to 4:30 p.m., Friday, Oct. 17, the clinic and its staff will hold a reception to talk about services the facility offers.
At 7 p.m., Jack Sims, director of the VA center at Togus, and his staff members will hold a town meeting at the Lister-Knowlton Post 9389, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Van Buren Road, Caribou. The meeting will offer an opportunity to look back at the clinic’s history, one of the VA’s first rural efforts, and to look ahead.
