Bar Harbor resident Sal Clouse bowled a 300 during a league night at the Family Fun Bowling Center in Bangor Monday night.

“I can’t tell you how it happened,” said Clouse, 33, who usually bowls a 200. “It’s just pure luck, I guess. I’ve been close but never gotten it.”

“Sometimes the pins go down, sometimes they don’t.”

Clouse’s 300 is the second perfect score bowled at Family Fun in seven days, as Ron Bellrose of Biddeford nailed a 300 on Oct. 7.
