SOUTH PARIS – Judy Bowden of Pittsfield Lanes finished first in the women’s division of Sunday’s Maine Candlepin Pro Tour event by bowling a 1,237 for 10 strings. Kelly Ames of Oxford Hills Lanes in South Paris was second with 1,179 and Val Joy of Vacationland Lanes in Saco placed third with an 1,163. Michelle Gonneville of Beacon Lanes in Raymond notched a 1,132 and Karen Matero of Oxford Hills Lanes finished fifth at 1,125.

Eben Hobbs of Oxford Hills won the men’s division with a 1,307 total pinfall. Mike O’Brien of Scarborough’s Big 20 Lanes was second with 1,291. Charlie Milan III of Brewer’s Bangor-Brewer Lanes finished third with 1,276, Kevin Sparks of Beacon Lanes fourth with a 1,272 and Mike Meader of Beacon Lanes finished fifth with 1,272.
