As the state grants more special rights to the Indians with their bingo hall (BDN, Nov. 14), the question is, what effect will this have on our harness racing industry?

Nova Scotia recently opened up two casinos. This put direct pressure on its harness racing industry. The Maine taxpayer has a limited amount of money for entertainment. Experience has taught me that this will go to bingo.
