ROCKLAND — Penobscot School, Rockland’s nonprofit center for language learning and international exchange, in collaboration with the Camden Conference, will offer a five-week seminar in Latin American Literature in Translation. The seminar is open to the public on five Tuesday evenings: Jan. 6, 13, 20 and 27 and Feb. 3, from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Registration is limited, so those who would like to participate are urged to sign up early.

According to seminar coordinator Ursula McAllister, the seminar will provide excellent background for anyone planning to participate in the Camden Conference on Latin America, scheduled for Feb. 6-8 at the Camden Opera House.

The seminar will meet at Penobscot School, 28 Gay Street. The tuition for the seminar is $55. To receive a complete course description and register, call Penobscot School at 594-1084.
