MOUNT DESERT – Crystal Graves and Katy Lawson led Mount Desert Island to a 54-51 schoolgirl basketball victory over Bucksport on Monday.
Graves scored 14 points and Lawson 12 for the Trojans.
Christy Grover scored a game-high 26 points for the Bucksport, and Kara Henderson nailed four 3-pointers en route to 18 points.

At the Forum in Presque Isle, the Wildcats received goals from 10 different players in the rout of the Black Bears.
Jason Straetz paced the potent Presque Isle attack with two goals and four assists, Jamie Brewer scored two goals and assisted on three others, and Kyle Folsom scored twice and had two assists.
Jeremy Fischer notched two goals and an assist, Mike Gallagher scored a goal and handed out three assists, and Josh Hayes and Aaron Madore added a goal and an assist each for the 7-1 Wildcats. Andy Beaulieu, Derrick Allen and Scott Smith tallied a goal apiece. Joe Grenier made two saves on three shots in goal.
Ian Harger scored an unassisted goal for Maranacook of Readfield. Justin Pepin stopped 33 of the 47 shots he faced.

At Alfond Arena in Orono, Mike Lebel scored two goals off assists from Randy Kluj and Ben Preston to help 3-4 Foxcroft Academy earn the victory.
Seth Condon scored a goal off an assist from Dave Speed, and Ben Orton saved all seven shots he faced for the winners.
Jeremy Smith turned away 43 of 46 shots for 0-7 Old Town.
