CARIBOU — Police are investigating a burglary that occurred sometime after midnight Wednesday at the Veterans of Foreign Wars hall on Van Buren Road.

Officer Paul Vincent of the Caribou Police Department said entry was forced into the building and cash was taken.

Vincent declined to elaborate on the details because the investigation is continuing and too much information released to the public could place the outcome in jeopardy.

He said there was a possibility that the incident could be related to other burglaries in the area.
