RANGELEY – Matt VanCamp poured in 32 points, including 13 in the fourth quarter, to lead Forest Hills of Jackman to a 79-71 boys basketball victory over Rangeley Saturday.

Ross Plante drilled four three-pointers en route to 22 points. Plante scored 12 of Forest Hills’ 14 points in the third quarter to keep them in the game. Dave Schoenmann ripped down 14 rebounds.

Rangeley’s Mike Spalding scored a game-high 39 points and Ryan Wilbur added 12.

At East Corinth, Ryan Rivera led Central back from a 15-4 first-quarter deficit with 20 points.

Rivera nailed two 3-pointers during a 13-5 third quarter as the Red Devils finally took the lead. Seniors Greg King and Tim McKay combined with Rivera to score 19 points in the fourth quarter.

Tony Heal paced Penquis Valley with 21 points and Casey Hamlin chipped in with 10.
