Meyer powers Narraguagus

WOODLAND – Adam Meyer scored the game-winning points by hitting two free throws with under a minute left as Narraguagus gained a 70-68 victory over Woodland in schoolboy basketball action Thursday night.

Jared Look netted 15 points while Nick Lyford and Centrale Williams each added 12.

Josh Thornton drained five three-pointers for Woodland and finished the game with 30 points. Thornton scored his 1,000th career point on a jump shot in the second quarter and ended the game with 1,026 career points. Bob Chandler tossed in 13 points and Dave Nicholson had 10.
