Outlook: Hedges had four goals in Maine’s win and tie last weekend. Former Orono High School goalie Ryan Stone is RPI’s coach and has one of the nation’s leading goal scorers in Acropolis, the ECAC-Alliance Rookie of the Year last season when she scored 43 goals and had 27 assists in 24 games. Acampora had 73 points a year ago. Both were blanked in a 4-3 loss to Williams on Wednesday. Lorenz is among the nation’s top scorers. RPI’s power play is operating at more than 30 percent while Maine’s shorthanded units have allowed only one goal in 22 chances.

MAINE vs. RIT

Time, site: Sunday, 12:10 p.m., Bouchard Arena, Brewer

Record: RIT 5-3-2 (3-2-2) entering Saturday game at Bowdoin

Key players: RIT – RW Katie Obyc (7 & 7), LW Rebecca Grandy (11 & 2), C Sandy Payne (6 & 5), D Kristine Pierce (2 & 3), G Melissa Norris (4-3-2, 2.89, .918)

Outlook: The Maine-RIT game pits brothers Rick and Bob Filighera behind therespective benches. RIT has given up only 2.6 goals per game. Goalies Oliver and Norris are two of the best around. Pierce, who missed all of last season with Hodgkin’s disease, will be presented a plaque by the Maine team for her perseverance in battling the disease.
