Ela to coach St. Joseph’s field hockey

STANDISH – Saint Joseph’s College has announced that 1994 University of Southern Maine graduate Melissa Ela has been named it’s head field hockey coach. Ela, who coached at Noble High School from 1994-1997, replaces Karen Croteau, who stepped down after three seasons.

STANDISH – Saint Joseph’s College has announced that 1994 University of Southern Maine graduate Melissa Ela has been named it’s head field hockey coach.

Ela, who coached at Noble High School from 1994-1997, replaces Karen Croteau, who stepped down after three seasons.

Ela was named an National Collegeiate Athletic Association Div. III first team All-American as a senior at Southern Maine and was named Southern Maine Activities Association Coach of the Year at Noble in 1996.
