I have a few words of wisdom for the selectmen of Owls Heads: Shame on you!

I thought in Maine we took care of our own. Apparently, in some towns, we just take them for all they are worth.

During the ice storm, we were known across the nation for “Mainers helping Mainers.” Everett Jones has fallen on hard times, after working hard making a living from the land and sea all his life.

Why did selectman Kay Dodge and the others fail to find help for this man before the current ordinance kicked in? Moral and ethical responsibility comes with the job. Sherry J. Gallant Hulls Cove
