MILBRIDGE — FixMe loans are available now to Down East homeowners, according to Sandra Prescott, executive director of the Washington Hancock Community Agency.

Last year, WHCA lent $339,000 to 43 families in Washington and Hancock counties to be used for home repairs. This year, the agency expects to approve 60 loans.

FixMe loans are available with interest rates of 2 percent and 4 percent. For information, or to apply, call 546-7544.
