Camden-Rockport will play host to Belfast in the Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Championship today at 11 a.m. after both teams posted semifinal victories Friday. Camden-Rockport defeated Lincoln Academy 13-3 while Belfast downed Oak Hill 12-1.

In softball action, Messalonskee downed Brunswick 8-5 and Oxford Hills topped Cony 6-4. Oxford Hills travels to Messalonskee for a 1 p.m. championshiop tilt today.

At Camden, Kestrel Dickerson limited Lincoln Academy to just four hits and drove in three runs on two singles of his own as Camden-Rockport won a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference playoff semifinal in five innings on the 10-run rule.

Matt Lippman added three singles and two RBIs for the Windjammers while Matt Kubel, Nate Neville and Abe Dugal rapped two singles each. Dugal also collected two RBIs. Dickerson struck out three and walked three in his stint.

Joey Brooks singled twice for Lincoln Academy.

Belfast 12, Oak Hill 1

At Belfast, Josh Pooler pitched one-hit ball for five innings while striking out five and walking four to lead Belfast in the Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class B Baseball Semifinals.

Ryan Maheux started the Lions off with two doubles and three RBIs in the first inning. Brandon Hurd added two singles and one RBI. Mike Gale and Howie Bennett each hit an RBI double in the second.

Ryan Beaudette singled in the third inning for Oak Hill.

At Oakland, Rachel Lewis singled, doubled and drove in two runs as Messalonskee beat Brunswick 8-5 in the Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Softball semifinals.

Janet McMullin earned the win scattering nine hits while walking two. Erin Findlan singled twice and Jamie Wacome hit an RBI double in the fourth.

Kelly Premo doubled twice for Brunswick. Amy Carrol and Sain Schreiden each singled and doubled while Cory Alexander collected two singles.

Oxford Hills 6, Cony 4

At Oxford Hills, Jessie Becher permitted only three hits while singling twice as Oxford Hills defeated Cony 6-4 in the Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Softball Semifinals.

Courtney Sirois started Oxford Hills off with an RBI double in first inning and scored on Kristy York’s RBI single. York also added a solo homer in the fifth. Erin Lovely and Olivia Shouniard each singled twice.

Dorice Reitchel singled and doubled while driving in one for Cony. Courtney Cheever raced out a bunt single in the fifth.
