We would rather let politicians and nontechnical people with agendas decide when this great country will lose its competitive edge because we have exhausted our supply of usable energy. Nuclear power must play an important role in our energy future — I hope those who disagree will be the first to turn off their TVs, computers and appliances when the fossil fuels run out.
