HERMON – Aaron St. Peter of Holden led the 35-lap Pro Stock feature from start to finish for his first victory of the season Sunday night at Speedway 95.
Trevor Hold of Cooper challenged St. Peter through four caution periods but was unable to overtake him on any restart and stayed in second. Andy Saunders of Ellsworth made a nice run from the back of the 18-car field to finish third.
Gary Bellefleur of Stetson finished fourth and Duane Seekins of Stockton Springs placed fifth.

Thorne captures Unity feature
At Unity Raceway, Gary Thorne of Augusta held off Art Beam of Levant and Lou Picard of Detroit to win the Pro Stock feature Sunday.
Bill Ellis of Guilford finished in fourth place and Tim Turner of Freedom was fifth.

Pelton takes win at Beech Ridge
At Scarborough, Richard Pelton of Scarborough picked up his third win this season, racing from the pole Saturday to take the checkers at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway.
Pelton, a rookie, held off Bobby Babb of Windham and Dennis Hall of Scarborough to take the win. Danny Bubar of Windham and South Portland’s Mike Maietta Jr. rounded out the top five.

Gardiner man wins in New Jersey
At Flemington, N.J., Steve Prescott of Gardiner started from the pole Saturday and picked up the win on the PRO Tour at Flemington Speedway.
Prescott, the season points leader for the Professional Racing Organization, held off challenges from Bill Morgan of Brookfield, Vt., and Kenny Martin Jr. of Sprakers, N.Y., for the victory.
Brackett posts third win of year
At Oxford, Tim Brackett of Oxford pulled into first place on lap 30 of Sunday’s 35-lap Pro Stock event and cruised to his third victory of the year at Oxford Plains Speedway.
Alan Wilson of Hebron led until the first yellow flag in lap 27. Turner’s Tommy Rowe took the lead on the restart and Brackett made his move on the 30th lap.
Rowe finished second and Wilson was third. Bob Bilodeau of Standish and Gary Drew of West Buxton were fourth and fifth, respectively.
