An open house for Bertha Harris in honor of her 91st birthday will be held 2-6 p.m. Saturday, July 25, at the Hermon Rescue Building, Billings Road. Refreshments will be served and the public is welcome. For more information, call 848-3306.

Clara Jordan will celebrate her 100th birthday with an open house on Saturday, July 11, at the Millinocket Baptist Church Fellowship Hall, Penobscot Avenue. Cards are welcome but no gifts are requested.

Helen Hawkins of Calais is looking for Terry Robert Leach, who was born in Calais in 1952 and adopted at age 3. His last known location was the town of Oakland. Hawkins has been searching for 30 years, and asks that anyone with information call collect at 506-466-1623.

Frances Schoppee Potter Thompson enjoyed her surprise 90th birthday party on June 13 at the Lucerne Inn. Sharing in the celebration were 120 guests, including family and friends. A special thanks goes to Cathy Hart of the Luncerne Inn for all of the efforts to make the day special.
