STANDISH – Jared Cochrane, Mike Kane and John Perry combined on a seven-hitter and Kane contributed at the plate with two singles and two RBIs to help lead Worcester Peat passed Yankee Ford 8-3 in Portland Twilight League action Thursday.

Matt Haney led Peat’s offense with three singles and an RBI. Brian Hawkes and Steve Smith each singled twice.

Don Ledbetter, Jim Dimillo, and Andrew Hanson each singled twice for Yankee Ford. Pudge Tarbox went the distance, throwing almost 200 pitches.
