A story on Thursday’s business page concerning the USDA denial of a loan to Fresh Way Inc. of Mars Hill incorrectly reported that the company was the only locally owned potato processor in Maine. In fact, Ayer Farms, owned by Andy Ayer of Caribou, has been processing fresh potatoes for several years.
