Sting rout Rockers

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Rhonda Mapp scored 20 points and Vicky Bullett had 18 points and 12 rebounds as the Charlotte Sting beat the Cleveland Rockers 79-64 on Thursday night in the WNBA.

Former North Carolina star Tracy Reid added 18 points for the Sting, who snapped a three-game losing streak to improve to 15-7.

Michelle Edwards led Cleveland (12-9) with 24 points. Former University of Maine star Cindy Blodgett did not play in the game for the Rockers.
