CARIBOU – Buddy York of Fort Fairfield made his first trip to the winner’s circle on Sunday at Spud Speedway as he won the Big A Bomber feature.
York held off a pair of hard charges from George Everett of Caribou, who placed second. Tom Everett, also of Caribou, took home third place honors.

Severance earns first feature win
At Scarborough, Jeff Severance of Hollis overtook Mike Maietta Sr. on the final lap of Saturday night’s Late Model Sportsman feature at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway to earn his first win in the top division.
Severance held off Maietta of South Portland, who took second place. Scarborough’s Steve Howard placed third. Bill Rodgers of Old Orchard and Bobby Babb of Windham rounded out the top five.

Chubbuck wins two at Wiscasset
At Wiscasset Raceway, starting ninth following a mid-race restart, Scott Chubbuck of Wiscasset made up more than a straightaway of distance to catch Bar Harbor’s John Phippen and win Saturday’s Pro Stock feature.
Chubbuck picked up his seventh win of the year at Wiscasset. Phippen placed second, turning around a recent stretch of bad luck at the track. Chuck LaChance of Cushing came across in third place. Jim Kaler Jr. of Newcastle and Boothbay’s Steve Reny finished fourth and fifth, respectively.

Clark ends retirement with win
At Oxford, Billy Clark of Farmington ended his six-year hiatus from PRO Tour truck racing to capture the checkered flag at Oxford Plains Speedway on Saturday evening.
Clark took the lead on lap 68 of 150 and never trailed for the rest of the race. Bryon Chew of East Hampton, N.Y. and Brent Dragon of Milton, Vt. placed second and third respectively. Clark’s teammate and race pole-sitter Steve Prescott of Gardiner maintained his season points lead by placing sixth.

Nelson wins on restart at Unity
At Unity, Steve Nelson of Albion and Russ Griffin of Jackman battled for the final ten laps of the Big A 100 at Unity Raceway on Saturday night before Nelson pulled away on a restart for the win.
Nelson held off Griffin, who placed second. Levant’s Art Beam took home third place and Dean Fuller and Matt Lee, both of Albion, placed fourth and fifth.

Babcock leads in point standings
At Loudon, N.H., Craig Babcock of Carmel placed first in endurance, fourth in superbike and first in Grand Prix, at the AMA Loudon Roadrace Series on Saturday. Babcock ranked first overall on the day and his finishes vaulted him into first place in the season point standings for all three classes.
