BANGOR — The Penobscot Theatre Company offers a high school internship program for the 1998-99 season. Interns will work with theater staff and do hands-on projects that include scenery, lighting, costumes, stage management and administration.

Interns will see and read all plays during the season and work backstage for at least one production.

Applicants must be a high school junior or senior, maintain a C average or better, have a good working attitude and positive team spirit. Internships generally last one year, but are broken into two sessions — September through December and January through May.
