VASSALBORO – Martha White, who plays out of Hermon Meadow Golf Club, defeated sister Pennie Cummings (Springbrook GC, Leeds) on the 18th hole on Sunday to claim the WMSGA President’s Cup at Natanis Golf Club.
The President’s Cup is held in honor of Evolyn Morison for her contributions to the Women’s Maine State Golf Association.
White defeated Julie Green and Viola Webb on Saturday to advance to the championship. Cummings beat Julie Sjogren and Laurie Hyndman.
