HAMPDEN – Cassady Regan of Piscataquis Community netted the game-winning goal with two minutes remaining that lifted the Home (White) team over the Away (Dark) 2-1 in an exhibition field hockey game Thursday. The game was the Penobscot Valley Conference’s Junior-Senior Invitational.

HAMPDEN – Cassady Regan of Piscataquis Community netted the game-winning goal with two minutes remaining that lifted the Home (White) team over the Away (Dark) 2-1 in an exhibition field hockey game Thursday.

The game was the Penobscot Valley Conference’s Junior-Senior Invitational.

Brewer’s Katrina Peterson scored the first goal of the game for the Home team. Stephanie Philbrick of John Bapst in Bangor, Jen Greatorex of Central in East Corinth and Tracie Pickering of Mattanawcook Academy in Lincoln were in the net.

Sue Sorg of Bangor and Kim Khoury of Brewer coached the Home team.

Alison Coladarci of Bangor scored for the Away team. Ashlea Larson of Hampden, Veronica Gilbert of Nokomis in Newport and Orono’s Jenn Brooks each played a period in goal.

Deanna Hessert of Hampden and Gina Van Pelt of John Bapst were the coaches the Away team.
