WESTBROOK — A 19-year-old man was killed and three other people were injured in a midday collision Saturday involving a sport utility vehicle and a truck.
John Bryant of Westbrook was killed instantly when his GMC Jimmy crossed over the center line on Warren Avenue and into the path of the oncoming truck, police said.
Two people in the truck and Bryant’s lone passenger were treated for minor injuries.
A hazardous materials unit was called to the scene because the truck was carrying a tank containing an acid solution, but officials said none of it spilled.
