CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Tessa McCue of Hampden will compete in the Regional National Figure Skating Championship in Cambridge, Mass., on Wednesday.
McCue, 13, who trains at a rink in Marlborough, Mass., will skate in the intermediate level after moving up from the juvenile division last year.
To have a chance to earn an Olympic figure skating berth, a skater must excel at the intermediate level then the novice, junior, and senior divisions.
A regional title would send McCue to her first national championship.
