PITTSFIELD — A Dixmont man has been charged with aggravated drug trafficking after police conducted a search Monday at a Lincoln Street residence.

Mark Patrick, 20, was arrested after 100 doses of LSD and assorted drug paraphernalia were seized. Additional charges may be brought against him, according to a Somerset County Sheriff’s Department press release.

The charges brought against Patrick were aggravated because of the amount of LSD seized and the fact that it allegedly was being sold to people under the age of 18 and within 1,000 feet of a school.

The search warrant was the result of a joint investigation by the Somerset and Kennebec county sheriff’s departments and the Fairfield Police Department.
