On Dec. 12, I was happily shopping at Automatic Distributors in Bangor. The day turned horrible when I lost $150. I suspect I lost the money in the parking lot of Automatic Distributors, but it may have been lost in the store. The worst thing of all is that it wasn’t my money — it was my friend’s and I was holding it for him.
Evidently, it fell out of my pocket and someone picked it up. It was a $100 bill and a $50 bill. I just wanted to say to the person who picked it up that the money can’t be replaced by my friend or me, although I wish I could. With us both being young, we don’t have the chance to have $150 in our hand except around the holidays. To whoever picked it up, we both would like to ask if they would please return the money to Automatic Distributors so we could both have a happy Christmas. Kacie Weymouth Abbot Village
