At Alfond Arena in Orono, Ryan Bernard scored the unassisted game-winning goal in overtime for the previously winless Old Town Indains in a thrilling 5-4 high school hockey victory over Maranacook.
Tim Gomm had two goals while Matt Dupuis added a goal for Old Town. Josh Sibley pitched in a goal and an assist. Jason Karam made 20 saves on 24 shots for the 1-5 Indains.
Ian Harger scored three goals for 3-2 Maranacook while David Faualhaben added a goal and an assist. Matt Zeh made 26 saves on 31 shots for the Black Bears of Readfield.
Winslow 9, Presque Isle 2
At Sukee Arena in Winslow, Brad White knocked in four goals and two assists for the Black Raiders.
Ben Fraser scored two goals. Chris Couturier, Rob Forbin and Jeff Paquette each added a goal for Winslow. Dan Soucie and Mike Bilodeau split time in goal.
Josh Hayes and Andy Beaulieu each scored a goal and earned assists for the Wildcats. Ted Wright and Joey Grenier shared goaltending duties.
