At Alfond Arena in Orono, Ryan Bernard scored the unassisted game-winning goal in overtime for the previously winless Old Town Indians in a thrilling 5-4 high school hockey victory over Maranacook.
Tim Gomm had two goals while Matt Dupuis added a goal for 1-5 Old Town. Josh Sibley pitched in a goal and an assist. Jason Karam made 20 saves on 24 shots.
Ian Harger scored three goals for the 3-2 Black Bears of Readfield, while David Faualhaben added a goal and an assist. Matt Zeh made 26 saves on 31 shots.
