SYDNEY, Nova Scotia – University College of Cape Breton had four players score in double figures Friday to beat Husson College of Bangor 72-70 in men’s basketball action.
David Phillip led Cape Breton with a game-high 19 points, while Stephen Nelson, who was named the player of the game, scored 14 and Craig Cline and Kirt Momborquette each added 12.
Sean Foye scored 18 for the Braves, Chris Funk added 12 and Dale Landrith 10. Husson outrebounded Cape Breton 32-23.
