At Augusta, the Cony Rams used a balanced scoring effort to hold off a stubborn Lawrence of Fairfield team in a battle for first place in Eastern Maine Class A.
The Bulldogs tied it at 33-all to start the fourth quarter, but Cony regained a seven-point buffer with a modest run and Lawrence could only get as close as five points the rest of the way.
Kevin Bunker scored 12 to pace the Rams. Brett Ulmer and Ryan Moore each scored 11 and Josh Cushman added 10.
Jed Johnson led Lawrence with 14 points and Justin Underwood had 10.

At Sawyer Arena in Bangor, David Lisnik scored four goals and Justin Libby notched three to power the Rams.
Dan Hackney chipped in with two goals for the 9-3-1 winners while Mike Deveau, Bobby Leavitt, and Stuart Cooper each recorded one. Lisnik, Libby, and Leavitt recorded two assists apiece while Hackney, Deveau and Cooper each had one.
Bangor goalie Justin Climo made eight saves on nine shots.
James Nicholson scored off a Brandon Craft assist for 0-8 Skowhegan and goalies Nathan Downing and Jared Smith combined for 41 saves on 53 shots.
Orono 8, Hampden 2
At Sawyer Arena in Bangor, Jake Hedstrom scored four goals and assisted on another as the Red Riots improved to 10-2.
Robert Murdoch, Derek Williams, Matt Hedrick, and Ben Barry tallied a goal apiece for Orono. Eric Holmes had three assists and Noah Lundy dished out two more. Eric Powers and Eric Gordon added an assist each. Stuart Cady made 16 saves on 17 shots and Paul Pangburn stopped six of the seven shots he faced.
Justin Shute and Matt Caldwell scored the goals for 5-6 Hampden. Matt McInnis, Shane Achey, and Noah Peet recorded assists, while Brian Cataldo made 22 saves on 30 shots.
