BRUNSWICK – Freshman Raffi Wolf scored twice and linemate Kira Misikowetz dished out three assists Tuesday night as the University of Maine posted a 4-0 shutout of Bowdoin in women’s hockey action at Dayton Arena.
Maine scored the only goal it would need when Esther Granville took a Christina Hedges pass and tallied a short-handed goal at 13:12 of the first period.
Wolf scored two goals in the second, the first off assists from Misikowetz and Allison Haley assist, and later with assists form Misikowetz and Jill Marks, who scored a third-period goal.
Amanda Cronin recorded the shutout, making 21 saves.
