OLD TOWN – Bangor outscored the Indians 24-14 in the final quarter en route to a 74-52 boys basketball win over Old Town Wednesday night.

Joe Campbell netted 22 points for the Rams while Eliot Blackstone scored 20. Nick Loukes scored 14.

Jason Thibodeau and Peter Fournier led Old Town with 13 points each. Gary Thibeault and Dan Emerson each notched 11 and 10, respectively.

At Readfield, Brian Gerrity poured in 34 points as the No. 8 Black Bears got by the No. 9 Warriors to earn a Class B Western Maine quarterfinal berth.

Greg Creek had a solid all-around game with 14 points, 18 rebounds and six assists. Andrew Boink tossed in 18 points and grabbed 10 boards.

Mike Walters paced Wells with 24 points.

Samantha Hunt paced Lawrence with 15 points.

At Sawyer Arena in Bangor, Nate Susi recorded two goals and two assists to fuel John Bapst’s win.

Nate Waring, Jason Astley, Jeremy Todd, and Tim Smith all scored a goal. Waring had two assists and Astley had three. Jeremy Todd, Patrick Bailey, and Chris Todd each added one assist.

Dan Allen stopped all 11 shots he faced for 10-6-1 John Bapst.

Casey Holmes turned away 28 of 32 shots for 11-7-1 Lawrence.

Bangor 5, Brewer 1

At Bouchard Arena in Brewer, Justin Libby and Mike Deveau each recorded two goals and an assist as the Rams cruised to the win.

David Lisnik added a goal and an assist. Stuart Cooper, Joey Tuck and Jon Kotredes each notched assists. Travis Brooker stopped 18 of 19 shots for 13-5-1 Bangor.

Aaron Saunders scored off a pass from Brian Ellis for the 7-12 Witches. Pat Cowan made 21 saves on 26 shots.

Winslow 8, Hampden 3

At Sukee Arena in Winslow, Brad White netted three goals and had two assists to lead the Black Raiders to the victory.

Ben Fraser scored two goals and notched four assists for Winslow. Nate Poulin and Nick Roy each scored a goal while Sean Bridges added one goal and two assists for the 14-5 Black Raiders. Mike Bilodeau stopped eight of 11 shots.

Lee Miller led the Broncos with two goals and one assist and Matt Mcinnis scored a goal. Scott Tardiff had two assists while Matt Astbury had one. Brian Cataldo made 17 saves on 25 shots for 10-8-1 Hampden.
