Newburgh Elementary School kindergarten registration for children entering school next fall will be held 8-1 a.m. and noon-2:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 3, at school.

Children must be 5 years old on or before Oct. 15 to be eligible. Birth certificates and immunization records must be shown at the time of registration. Children do not need to be present at registration.

For people who are unable to register March 3 may call the school at 234-2781 as soon as possible to set up a better time. —-

Kindergarten registration for the 1999-2000 school year will be held 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Wednesday, March 10, and Monday, March 15, at Hermon Elementary School. Children must be 5 years old on or before Oct. 15 and must show birth certificate and immunization record at registration. —-

Residents of Orrington with children who will be 5 years old on or before Oct. 15 should call the North Orrington School at 989-1222 to ensure registration. —-

A free preschool screening for all area 3- and 4-year-old children, as well as all 5-year-olds not yet eligible for kindergarten will be held for SAD 22 (Hampden, Winterport, Newburgh), 9 a.m.-1 p.m. March 9 at Earle McGraw School. Call 947-8493.
