AUGUSTA — The Maine Arts Commission has awarded organizational development grants of $2,000 to the Oak Street Theater in Portland and the Hudson Museum in Orono.

The Oak Street Theater grant will be used in hiring its first managing director. The Hudson Museum will use its grant for strategic planning, to retain an outside facilitator to coordinate planning, analyze data and generate a draft of a strategic plan.

Organizational grants are available on an ongoing basis to help institutions or groups of institutions in assessing, planning or implementing strategic development projects. For information, call the Maine Arts Commission at 287-2724.
