The Hancock Women’s Club offers scholarships for high school seniors and nontraditional students. Applicants must be residents of the town of Hancock and must plan to attend college in the fall of 1999. Scholarships will be paid the second semester.

Applications may be picked up at the guidance office at the student’s school or the Hancock Town Hall, and must be returned by April 15 to either the school’s guidance office or the Hancock Women’s Club, P.O. Box 274, Hancock 04640. —-

The Castine Women’s Club will offer two $750 scholarships to a high school senior in Castine who has been accepted by a college or technical school, or a nontraditional student who has been accepted for education beyond high school.

High school seniors from Castine will receive applications, which are due no later than April 30. For information, call 326-8088.
