PORTLAND – Boys basketball players from around the state will compete in the Maine AAU basketball championships Sunday at St. Joseph’s College in Standish.

The two teams from each age group that will vie for the titles were whittled down from more than 100 teams in 300 games.

Admission, which is good for all games, is $3 for adults and $2 for children.

Championship games in the fourth- and fifth-grade divisions were played on April 11, with the Lakers of Winthrop winning the fourth-grade title and the Maine Buccaneers taking the fifth-grade crown.

Seventh grade: Maine Hoops vs. Northern Stars, 11:30 a.m.

Ninth grade: Maine Wave vs. Nokomis AAU, 2:30 p.m.

10th grade: Maine Hoops vs. Maine Coast, 4 p.m.
