WOODLAND – Michaelene Seavey rapped a triple, three singles and knocked in three runs as Woodland handled Machias, 22-10, in schoolgirl softball action on Friday.

For the Dragons, Angela Robb knocked in three runs with a double and two singles and Kacey Pike delivered three more runs on a pair of singles. Jenny Crosby hit two singles and pitched three innings of no-hit ball, striking out one and walking two. Joselyn Leighton scored four runs while singling twice and walking three times.

…Guptill smacked a grand slam to cap a nine-run fourth inning for the Bulldogs.

At Dover-Foxcroft, Jen Saucier stroked four singles and drove in three runs and Shannon Sirois spun a three-hitter, striking out 11 and walking three, as the Minutmen of Millinocket rolled.

Heather Potvin added a triple and two singles for Stearns, while Brook Legassey notched a double, two singles and two RBIs. Kristen Harmon had three singles and Meredith Oliver contributed a double, a single and two RBIs.

Kristi Smith knocked in a run for Foxcroft Academy with a fifth-inning single. Katie Stevens doubled.

At Mount Desert Island, Annette Caswell tossed a five-hitter and Bucksport capitalized on seven Trojan errors to take the win.

Nikki Sheehan singled three times and drove in a run for the Golden Bucks. Jessica Sawyer singled and doubled while Heather Pelletier ripped two singles.

Melissa Gott smacked a single and double for MDI. Sarah Miller added two singles.

At Belfast, Lindsay McFarland threw a no-hitter, striking out eight and walking six to lead Lincoln Academy of Newcastle to the win.

Katrin Fesmir doubled twice and singled, driving in a run for the Eagles. Sara Alley added a double and single.

Brandi Woods allowed nine hits and struck out four for the Lions.

At Blue Hill, after allowing a leadoff single, GSA’s Brooke Keniston didn’t allow another hit and struck out 10 to lift the Eagles.
