The other contracts went to Master Contractors, which bid $174,447 on the Prentiss facility, and Emery Lee and Sons, which will build the Matagamon storage building for $111,811.

The commissioners also awarded contracts for site preparation work for the Prentiss and Matagamon sheds to Emery Lee and Sons. The company will be paid $45,450 for the Prentiss job and $33,025 for the work in Matagamon.

In other business, county officials authorized $7,960 for a one-year maintenance contract for two telephone recording devices at the county’s regional dispatch center. The service will be provided by the machines’ vendor, Eyretel Inc.
