Bangor Savings Bank announced that Joy Mase has joined their Skowhegan office as assistant branch manager. She earned an associate’s degree from New York Regents College and has experience in mortagage lending, collections, customer service, processing mortgages, and supervision.

Peter P. St. John was recently promoted to senior vice president of commercial services for the Presque Isle office of Katahdin Trust Co. The Fort Kent native graduated from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and the University of Maine.

Michael F. Jones has been named senior vice president in the commercial lending department of Peoples Heritage Bank’s office in Rockland. He has served as a group vice president and regional vice president. He is a graduate of Bowdoin College and lives in St. George.

Ernest H. Bowling recently joined the James Sewall Co. of Old Town as a biometrician. He has 14 years experience in the industry and formerly worked for Bowater-Great Northern Paper Inc. managing, supervising and developing 105,000 acres of forest land.

Paul L. Mahan has been promoted to general manager for Northern Log Homes, Inc. of Bangor. He is a graduate of Northern Maine Vocational Technical Institute and has 17 years experience in drafting, construction, and as a sales manager.

The University of Maine Foundation announced that Judy L. Hanscom has been appointed marketing and programs coordinator in Bangor. She has 20 years experience in program planning, coordination of higher education, and the electric utility industry.

Mary Rogan is the new assistant branch manager in the Brewer office of Bangor Savings Bank. She has 17 years experience in the banking industry and has completed several banking courses from the American Institute of Banking.
