GUILFORD – Stephanie Wentworth slammed a two-run double in the bottom of the seventh to give the Piscataquis Community Pirates an 11-10 schoolgirl softball victory over the Penobscot Valley Howlers Monday.

Wentworth’s double capped a four-run rally.

Alice White-Cyr singled and doubled, driving in two runs for the Pirates. Kalli Pulkkinen and Nicole Goulette hit two singles each.

Mitchelle Doyon and Heidi McGinn had two hits and three RBIs each for the Howlers of Howland.

At Milo, Sally Jenkins hit a two-run double in the first inning to help the Patriots earn the win.

Erynn Bailey and Megan Russell each singled twice. Abbie Bowen struck out four en route to the victory.

Crystal Strout and Missy Krawczyk each hit two singles for the Red Devils of Corinth.

Camden-Rockport 11, Winslow 6

At Camden, Toni Lynn Robbins fanned 11 and walked four to pick up a win for the Windjammers.

Robbins also singled twice and drove in another run for three RBIs. Suzie Tofani hit a one-run triple in the fifth inning for Camden-Rockport.

Amy Dubois paced the Black Raiders with a two-run double in the fifth inning and Nicole Bilodeau added two singles.

At Thorndike, Rachel Ervin struck out 10 and walked two to lift the Tigers to the win.

Keely Baun singled twice and drove in a run. Kate Wiggins hit a two-run single in the fourth and Jody Fournier added a double. Lauren Darby hit two singles.

Sarah Cole and Jill Raven each singled for the Mustangs.

At Searsport, Laura Morse hit a three-run homer and finished with four RBIs as the Knights of Harrington rolled.

Morse went 4-for-4 with a homer and three singles for Narraguagus. She also pitched a five-hitter and struck out seven. Heidi Lyons doubled and singled to drive in a run.

Tina Barton lined a pair of singles and knocked in a run.

At Ellsworth, Lyndsy Patten allowed two hits over five innings and the Eagles took advantage of 10 Mount Desert Island errors to take the win.

Patten struck out nine for Ellsworth. Renee Saunders tripled in two runs while Amanda Smith added a triple, single and RBI. Sara Roy ripped two singles and Rachel Smallidge singled and scored twice.

For the Trojans, Emmy Renault singled and scored in the second inning. Melissa Gott added a single.

At Blue Hill, sisters Nikki and Brooke Keniston combined on a four-hitter, striking out 11 as the Eagles defeated Sumner of East Sullivan.

Jeanna Leclerc doubled twice and singled, scoring two runs for George Stevens Academy. Dawn Robertson had three singles and two RBIs while Annie Astbury had a single in the fifth inning to drive in the go-ahead run.

Jill Osier singled and doubled for the Tigers.

At Deer Isle, Sarah Dunham hit a two-run single in the sixth inning to plate the winning run as the Mariners edged the Patriots.

Roz Santospago tripled and doubled to drive in three runs for Deer Isle-Stonington. Dunham added a triple and Liz Barbato launched a two-run homer.

Rachael Sage blasted a three-run home run in the third inning for Bangor Christian. Lari Sobey doubled and singled to drive in a pair of runs.

At Millinocket, Annette Caswell struck out 10 and allowed just five infield singles as Bucksport downed Stearns.

Amber Baird’s solo home run in the top of the fourth inning provided the winning run for the Golden Bucks and she also added a single. Jana Richards singled twice, doubled and drove in a run.

Heather Potvin hit two singles for the Minutemen and drove in a run. Shannon Sirois added an RBI single.

At East Millinocket, Kari Vance pitched a one-hitter and Allison McLaughlin slammed a two-run home run and doubled to help the Lynx of Lincoln roll.

Vance struck out 11 while walking two in five innings. Dyana Gallant reached Vance for a leadoff double in the fourth.

Tracie Pickering chipped in with two singles, a double and three RBIs for the winners and Desirae Haines added three singles and two RBIs.

At Orono, the Red Riots scored five runs in the bottom of the sixth inning without the aid of a hit to beat Hermon.

Orono took advantage of five walks and two errors in the inning to rally for the win. Jessica Libby singled twice, scored two runs and drove in one. Laura Keating added an RBI single.

Danielle Cyr singled twice and doubled, driving in two runs for the Hawks. Dawn Cyr ripped two singles for two RBIs.

At Guilford, Scott DeCastro homered in the fourth inning and added a triple to help the Pirates cruise by the Howlers.

Shane Overlock doubled twice with an RBI for Piscataquis Community behind Bud Leavitt, who fired a three-hitter. Derrek Smith hit a single and a double for three RBIs and Tim Shea singled twice with one RBI.

Matt Dobson paced Penobscot Valley of Howland with a double and an RBI.

Chris Wyman smacked two doubles for the Tigers. Mike Mountain had two singles and struck out nine in a losing effort. Matt Foster hit a two-run single.

At Camden, Joah Peck and Mike McDonald hit back-to-back home runs in the third inning to pace the Windjammers.

Peck drove in two runs on his homer and added an RBI single. McDonald’s homer was a solo but he hit a two-run single. Jay Seymour and Richard Hyssong hit two-run singles in the sixth.

Todd Carter led the Black Raiders with a three-run double. Chris McCabe singled and doubled.

At Thorndike, the Tigers took advantage of six Mount View errors in the first inning as they rolled over the Mustangs.

Matt Hedrich, John O’Dell and Greg Harjula each hit two singles for Rockland.

Mount View’s Corey Robinson struck out eight and walked none. Tron Hatch doubled and hit an RBI single. Josh Grass singled twice.

At Searsport, Nate Hall fired a seven-hitter and struck out 14 as the Vikings cruised.

Ben Relyea blasted a double and single with two RBIs for Searsport. Vaughn Littlefield and Travis Curtis each had two singles and an RBI.

Seth Bernier rapped three singles for the Knights of Harrington and Joe Haskell doubled.

At Blue Hill, Pete Collier hit a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the third inning to plate the eventual winning run for the Eagles.

Matt Martin lined a two-run double in the second inning for George Stevens Academy. Collier added a single and two runs batted in.

Mike Cowperthwaite singled in a run for the Tigers of East Sullivan. Travis Bickford spun a three-hitter and struck out seven.
