ELLSWORTH — The Union of Maine Visual Artists, Downeast Chapter will hold its next meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 26, at the Ellsworth Library. The speaker will be Warren Hill, who will give a slide talk on the 20th century English painter Francis Bacon.

ELLSWORTH — The Union of Maine Visual Artists, Downeast Chapter will hold its next meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 26, at the Ellsworth Library.

The speaker will be Warren Hill, who will give a slide talk on the 20th century English painter Francis Bacon.

Members of the union are urged to attend the meeting. The public is invited and admission is free. The UMVA is a nonprofit, statewide organization of artists, art critics, educators, and friends of the arts. For information about the UMVA, contact Vickie Sheridan at 326-9566.
