Newburgh’s Ricky Craven will become the first driver in NASCAR Winston Cup history to be sponsored by a mutual fund. StockCar Stocks, the only NASCAR-related mutual fund, will be an associate sponsor on Craven’s No. 58 Ford for the Winston Open on May 22 and the Coca-Cola 600 on May 30. Both will be held at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
StockCar Stocks Index Fund invests in 57 companies that sponsor or derive revenues from NASCAR Winston Cup racing. Craven has been a fan of the stock market for several years.
