FLORENCE, S.C – Former University of Maine All-American defenseman Jack Capuano, who led Pee Dee Pride to an East Coast Hockey League-record 51 wins, 29 home victories and 106 points this past season, has been named senior vice president of the franchise.
He will step down as head coach. The Pride were 51-15-4 and won the Brabham Cup given to the league’s regular season champion. Capuano has also been the director of hockey operations and assistant general manager.
