AUGUSTA — The Maine Department of Transportation will hold two workshops on design of bicycle and pedestrian facilities in June at the St. Paul Center.

A two-day session, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday, June 24-25, will be held at the St. Paul Center. This session is aimed at design professionals, municipal officials and others interested in promoting safe pedestrian and bicycle transportation.

The second workshop will be 7-9 p.m. Thursday, June 24, at the St. Paul Center.

Both sessions are open to the public. For information, call J. Balicki at 287-6600.
