ELLSWORTH – Josh Sadlier belted two home runs, a single, and amassed five RBIs as Trenton out-slugged Brewer 13-8 in American Legion baseball Monday evening.
The Acadians posted 11 runs in the first two innings, pounding out nine of their 12 hits. Sadlier led the way with a two-run shot in the first.
Winning pitcher Toby Cole contributed to the offense with a pair of triples. Jamie Cunningham added a double, single, and two RBIs and Courtney Bunker slammed a two-run triple.
For Brewer, Nick Raymond went 4-for-4 with two doubles, two singles, and two RBIs. Justin Spencer hit a two-run homer and Andy Thomas pitched in with a double and two singles.

At Portland, Jeff McNally singled three times, and Jeff Weeks and Chris Fortzialas added two singles each to lead Baseball Connection of Portsmouth.
For Worcester Peat, Steve Osborne doubled and hit a home run for two RBIs, and Marc Halsted hit a double and a home run for three RBIs.
